From Langkawi (Malaysia) to Koh Lipe ( Thailand) it’s easy to go by speedboat, pretty sure that’s the only way. I had heard great things about Koh lipe before I arrived. Yet still I was in for a real treat! This is definitely paradise and one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. What an awesome way to start of my time in Thailand! Clear turquoise water, white sand, an magical sunsets. I really got the sense that this is a relatively unexplored pearl. There were some tourists but might still been missed by most backpackers.

The island is quite small and you can easily walk around it in an hour or so. It has three beaches, sunset, sunrise and pattaya beach (easy access from wherever you are). There is one main street in Koh Lipe where you find everything you need. A seven eleven, a small supermarket, cafes, bars and restaurants. There is one cafe called bloom which is really nice, cheesy food and refreshing smoothies! And I have to mention the Plus hostel, probably the cleanest hostel ever!
Honestly not much to do in Koh Lipe but to just ENJOY LIFE 🙂
